More FM Arena

The More FM Arena is one of Dunedin’s premier event centres. Whilst an integral part of the Edgar Centre it can be used as a stand alone venue for concerts, conferences, trade shows and exhibitions.

Floor space is 2400 square metres (40m x 60m), which is 3 wooden basketball/netball courts. It is fully set up for sound, including a hand held microphone if required.

There are 380 seats in the West Stand and the option to bring out a further 2500 retractable seats. Dunedin’s largest dinner venue the More FM Arena can cater for up to 1200 guests. It is a very versatile and well utilised area.

While an integral part of the whole Edgar Centre, with two connecting doorways to the main sports hall, the More FM Arena can also function as a separate venue for events such as large dinners, expos, conferences, trade shows and more ... the list is endless. 

With its own separate entrance, reception area and toilets, this building can be hired exclusively to provide a venue that can be heated and carpeted. Drapes can also be hired to section off areas within the Arena to provide the exact size required by an event.
