Metro Direct Lounge

The Metro Direct Lounge is one of Dunedin's premier function spaces with unrivalled 180 degree views over the harbour, Dunedin peninsula and the city through its huge, north facing windows. It can host an event that attendees will remember, whether it's a corporate function in theatre, boardroom or classroom style set-up, a wedding reception or a party.

With capacity for up to 200 guests in a functional and versatile 16m x 12m space with full bar and catering facilities on hand, this venue can cater for your needs. A ceiling mounted data projector is available for use, as well as a microphone if required.

Our quality natural wood trestle tables provide a professional environment and complement our desire to deliver great service at an affordable price. Alternatively small or large round tables can be set up. These tables require tablecloths to be hired in at a small extra charge.

The room is 192 square metres in size and free parking is available on-site. We also provide a full in-house catering service offering a great selection of food and beverages throughout the day, or something special for an evening function. Chilled water is available for all room hires.

AV equipment and WiFi are included in the hire price. Floor to ceiling windows provide ample natural light as well as the ability to black out for presentations. There is internal lift access if required.
