Sports Events

The Edgar Centre is capable of hosting a wide range of sports events, The Edgar Centre is used daily as a sports venue with Netball, Basketball, Tennis, Touch, Table Tennis, Indoor Soccer and Futsal leagues being run throughout the year.

There are 16 courts with synthetic carpet flooring with markings for Tennis, Netball and Indoor Soccer.

There are 5 sprung wooden courts with Basketball, Netball and Volleyball markings.

The centre can be set up to provide a maximum of

  • 16 Tennis Courts or
  • 5 Basketball Courts or
  • 21 Netball Courts or
  • a combination of a variety of sports

Amenities at the Centre include: ticketing services, team change rooms, control room, electronic scoreboards, food and beverage outlets, and an on-site sports injuries clinic.
