Otago Institute of Sport and Adventure

15th June 2018

Otago Institute of Sport and Adventure Skills and Drills are a great opportunity for our students to apply some practical coaching knowledge.
There are approx. 300 children (athletes) from a variety of primary schools who each engage with five different fundamental sports.
We utilise ten courts and the indoor venue guarantees we can run these sessions. It is fantastic for our students and the primary schools and it is one of the ways in which Otago Polytechnic students engage with the community.
We believe this has a real benefit to our students, as well as the primary school pupils. They plan, deliver, evaluate each day and refine their coaching over a number of days.
